Shows how many traits that are common in autistic adults you recognize in yourself, now and in childhood. It is not a diagnosis, only a prompt to decide whether to talk to a professional.
The RAADS-14 Screen was developed in Sweden from the longer RAADS-R scale. It has 14 statements about understanding other people, social situations, sensory overload and a need for sameness. For each one you say whether it is true now and in childhood, only now, only before age 16, or never. Each answer scores 0 to 3 points, for a total of 0 to 42.
This is not a diagnosis
Many people without autism also score high on this screener, especially with ADHD or anxiety. Autism is diagnosed only by a specialist after a full assessment.
