Personality disorder traits test

Shows which difficult personality traits fit you best: strong negative emotions, withdrawal, manipulation, impulsiveness or odd experiences. It is not a diagnosis, only a map of traits to talk through with a professional.

What it measures

The Personality Inventory for DSM-5, Brief Form (PID-5-BF) was written by Krueger, Derringer, Markon, Watson and Skodol for the American Psychiatric Association. Its 25 statements cover five trait domains of the DSM-5 alternative model for personality disorders: negative affect, detachment, antagonism, disinhibition and psychoticism. Each answer scores 0 to 3, and each domain is the average of its five answers, from 0 to 3.

This is not a diagnosis

The form describes traits, not disorders, and the APA gives no cutoffs for it. A personality disorder is diagnosed only by a professional after a conversation. Your answers show how you see yourself now, so a hard period can move them.
