Relationship satisfaction test

Shows how satisfied you are with your relationship with a partner: how well it meets your needs and expectations and how many problems it has. It is your own view, not a verdict on the two of you.

What it measures

The Relationship Assessment Scale (RAS) was developed by Susan S. Hendrick in 1988 as a short, general measure of satisfaction in a relationship with a partner. Seven questions cover how well your partner meets your needs, how satisfied you are overall, how your relationship compares to most, regret, expectations, love and problems. Each answer scores 1 to 5, two questions are reversed, and the result is the average from 1 to 5.

This is not a verdict on your relationship

The scale shows how you see your relationship today. It is not a diagnosis or a forecast, and it has no official cutoffs for good or bad. If you do not feel safe in your relationship, reach out for help whatever your score.
